 during the Afghan War. He was promised help emigrating to the US as the war 
 ended. However\, this process was much more difficult than he imagined. 
 Learn more about this journey and the story of his friendship with U.S. 
 Army Lieutenant\, Spencer Sullivan.\n\nSodais and Sullivan co-wrote Not Our 
 Problem: The True Story of an Afghan Refugee\, an American Promise\, and 
 the World Between Them\, which released in April 2026. Copies of the book 
 are expected to be available for purchase.\n\nThis program will be held at 
 the Riverside Presbyterian Church\, located at 116 Barrypoint 
 Road.\n\nCo-hosted by the Riverside Area Refugee Resettlement Team and the 
 Riverside Public Library.\n\nRegistration required.
