Writing Family Stories: A Legacy Project with Carol LaChapelle In-Person
Writing Family Stories: A Legacy Project is designed for people who want to write their family stories—those real-life accounts of the important people, places, and events in their and their family’s life. These stories may be recorded as letters, diary entries, character sketches, even eulogies. Participants practice writing in several of these forms, then leave the workshop with stories to share at family gatherings, for holiday events, as special gifts, or as family keepsakes to be handed down to future generations.
Carol LaChapelle is a writer, teacher, and the author of Finding Your Voice, Telling Your Stories. Her essays have appeared in the New York Times, America magazine, and in The Writing Group Book.
