Chess for Beginners In-Person
Want to learn how to play chess? Chess is a fun way to engage your mind, connect with family, and make new friends. Learn from the President of Riverside Chess Club, Sean Hennessy, who is globally ranked in the top 1% of active players on Chess.com. This interactive one-time class is for pure beginners who don't yet know the rules, answering everything from "What is chess?" to "How do the pieces move?" At the end, kids will have a chance to play a game with each other on boards provided by the instructor.
For kids and teens grades K-12.
