Monster Movie Mondays: Classic Universal Monsters of the Past In-Person
Join us on Monday evenings this October as we revisit the classic Universal movie monsters of the past. We will have a double-feature every Monday night of the classic films that have shaped our nightmares and our movies for the last hundred years. Popcorn will be served and there will be a brief intermission between movies. So come into the dark and relive the monsters of your nightmares.
6 PM: The Mummy (1932)
Yet another Boris Karloff film that has been influential and remade countless times, this moody and atmospheric film is an effective and chilling horror classic
7:30 PM: The Invisible Man (1933)
This third James Whale classic on our list stars a then unknown Claude Rains in the title role. It also stars Gloria Stuart, who 64 years later would star as the elderly Rose in Titanic. Great special effects, black humor, and a bit of science fiction, this film is not to be missed.
