Homesteading for the 21st Century In-Person

Do you feel overwhelmed by the environmental problems facing the world? Do you feel like there is nothing we can do to help? Or you don't know where to start? Come talk with us about the modern homesteading movement and find out how the solutions to complex environmental problems can start with simple changes right at home.

Hannah Pecis received her undergraduate degree in Marketing from Concordia University Chicago. Upon finishing her degree and becoming a volunteer at The Brookfield Zoo, she realized that the only thing she could market would be ways to better the environment. Following her lifelong passion for the natural world she enrolled in the Advanced Inquiry Program through Miami University to acquire her M.A. in Biology. Through her studies she was able to find a passion for sharing accessible ways to help the environment.
